My design was mentioned amongst the top 10 class (ca 70 students) and awarded with a 9 out of 10 points.
The design was featured in the Dutch packaging magazine Verpakken of Dec 2019.
I was taught by Professor Roland Ten Klooster, a top-notch professor of packaging design and management.
For the Packaging and Management course as the University of Twente, I received the task to develop a packaging for a food- and non-food product according to EU norms and regulations. I chose to create a gift-set for the brand Headspace.
Headspace is an application that supports users to become more mindful through guided meditation. Despite not selling physical products, this gift box is a proposal to compliment the experience. It allows users to exercise mindfulness with a 2-part ritual: drinking green tea in the morning to energize yourself and meditating with the scented candle in the evening to enhance the effect of the mental journey. The packaging is designed to be completely reusable, utilizing a sturdy box with no print other than the friendly character on the lid and two high-quality jars from brown glass. The perfect gift!
